The US Center for SafeSport offers a free class for parents who want to find out more about the SafeSport initiative. The course "Parents Guide to Misconduct in Sport" is free! It is designed for the parents of athletes of all ages. This course explains the issues of misconduct in sport and helps parents ensure their children have a positive and safe sport experience. This is excellent training, and completion of the class by our parents helps us (as a team) become a SafeSport Recognized Club. Recognized clubs earn a badge to display on their website, and these clubs will be designated as Safe Sport recognized in USA Swimming’s Find-a-Team online search tool.
