PRACTICE GROUPS

SwimNation Aquatics - SNAP! offers training and practice groups for water polo players of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of SNAP!  to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities.

SplashBall 

Splashball is a fun way to introduce water polo to boys and girls ages 5 to 9 years of age. This is a co-ed program.  No prior water polo experience is needed, however participants must have a basic swimming ability and be comfortable in the water. Players will learn basic water polo skills, meet new friends in a fun environment and acquire an understanding water polo in a recreational format. 

8-U Water Polo is for boys and girls ages 8 and under

Through fun activities, players will learn the basics of water polo such as offensive and defensive strategies and skills like passing and shooting the ball. This is a fun program, which will teach the dynamics of water polo in a safe, easy to learn way.

Competitive Age Groups Programs

 

10U Boys & Girls Competitive Water Polo 

This program accommodates all levels of players. Players will learn basic water polo skills in a fun and safe environment. Scrimmages and tournaments are in addition to regularly scheduled practices. 

12U & 14U Boys & Girls Competitive Water Polo

This program accommodates all levels of players, from novice to experienced. This is not a co-ed program and boys and girls compete separately. 12U players will focus on long term athlete development, learn the basic water polo skills and further develop their game fundamentals. 14U players will fine-tune their water skills and fundamentals and work on game tactics. Scrimmages and tournaments are in addition to their regularly scheduled practices. Teams for tournaments are determined by the Coaches.  

16U & 18U Boys & Girls Competitive Water Polo

This program accommodates all levels of players, from novice to experienced, and focuses on enhancing and strengthening fundamentals, conditioning and tactics. This is not a co-ed program and boys and girls compete separately. Scrimmages and tournaments are in addition to their regularly scheduled practices. Teams for tournaments are determined by the Coaches.
